From being blown away by the importance of soil to dining with dinosaurs! What a brilliant two days we all had at the Floodplain Meadows Conference 2023. As a newbie to the Floodplain Meadow world, I came away feeling inspired, encouraged and excited!
A particular highlight for me was spending a sunny Wednesday afternoon in Cassington Meadows. It was brilliant to spend a few hours with botany experts and having (what felt like!) an amazing 1 to 1 training session on meadow plant ID.
Thank you to all that organised it, gave talks and helped on the day. It was brilliant.
