Please join for a series of training webinars based around the new CSG18 Floodplain Meadow CSHT Option aimed at anyone giving advice about the option, or those hoping to apply for the option. This free training will provide an overview of this special grassland habitat and its CSHT option available for management, restoration and creation. The training is supported by Natural England, Environment Agency and Defra. However if you work for any of those organisations and wish to register, please contact us separately.
The training is comprised of four sessions:
1. General concept of floodplain meadows & the CSHT option Tuesday 3rdMarch 2026 11am – 12.30pm
2. Eligibility of sites Tuesday 10th March 2026 11am - 12.30pm
3. Practical aspects of restoration and creation Tuesday 17th March 2026 1.30 pm– 3pm
4. Management challenges including farm case studies Tuesday 24th March 2026 1.30pm – 3pm
There will also be the opportunity for a site visit in June 2026 in one of five regions.
