Troubleshooting

Typical management problems are often revealed by the presence of particular plants acting as as indicators of underlying environmental problems. In situations where a particular plant becomes frequent across much of the meadow and dominant in some areas, the problem plant table can help identify the problem and the solution. Management should be done using mechanical means such as cutting and drainage activity, rather than using herbicides, which can be very damaging.

Use the plant carousels to see if you have species indicating compaction or water logging problems.
